Congratulations to the Bethany Catholic College Hurstville Class of 2023 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!

Our school was among the top 100 in the state, placing 99th in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings.

We also recorded 145 Distinguished Achievers, one All Rounder and two Top Achievers, together with a Band 6 rate of 17.3 per cent.

Two students achieved placings in the state in a course, with Jaymee Louise Buena placing 8th in Music I and Lara Squillaci placing 15th in Biology.

Principal Robyn Rodwell congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic effort and achievements.

“I’m very proud of our results. This cohort has increased its efforts since their Trial HSC examinations,” she said.

“The Bethany Class of 2023 collaborated extremely well as they knew that a team effort was necessary for successful results.

“High expectations are part of the routine at Bethany and this is coupled with maintaining positive relationships with staff.

“In 2023, Year 12 were on a flexible timetable learning from home one day per fortnight. This has helped them to better organise their own time and to prepare for university life as well as spending uninterrupted time on study, practice examinations, project or performance work,” Ms Rodwell said.

SUCCESS ACROSS THE SYSTEM
