Bethany Catholic College Hurstville student Charlotte D’Arcy has been selected to feature in SHAPE 2026, NESA’s prestigious annual showcase of the most outstanding HSC major works in New South Wales.
Charlotte was one of just 57 students chosen from more than 11,000 entries across NSW, and one of only five from Sydney Catholic Schools to earn a place in this year’s exhibition.
Her selection is all the more remarkable given that her entire Multimedia class was nominated for inclusion, a testament to the strength of the program at Bethany Catholic College.
Her major work, selected in the Industrial Technology (Multimedia) category, was a comprehensive Travel Activity Pack for children, an immersive educational resource inspired by her own travels through Europe.

Recognising a gap in the market for engaging tools to help young families explore new destinations, Charlotte designed the pack as a gateway to European geography and culture, blending graphic design, photography, videography, animation, and illustration into a single cohesive brand experience.
The project showcased a sophisticated command of the Adobe Creative Suite and reflected countless hours of work, from initial storyboarding through to final assembly.
Teachers Theresa Chisari and Kiara Le Gras said the achievement speaks to both Charlotte’s talent and her dedication.
“We are incredibly proud that Charlotte D’Arcy, a standout member of the 2025 Year 12 cohort, has had her Industrial Technology Multimedia Major Project selected for the prestigious exhibition. This is a mammoth achievement in the Multimedia category, signalling a work of exceptional technical merit, creative vision, and disciplined execution.
“Charlotte’s tireless work ethic and her ability to push the boundaries of industry standard software have resulted in a project that is truly a craft in digital storytelling.”
Congratulations to Charlotte, and to the staff at Bethany Catholic College who supported her in reaching the very top of her field.
